OSGF Internet Ongoing project
Since 2000, NACC is the grantee of "Open Society - Gorgia Foundation" (OSGF). Particularly, according to OSGF Internet Program: "Wide Open World", NACC has a free access to Internet by 10 hours in a week and it's e-mail address: nacc@ip.osgf.ge.This grant was a one-year duration, but OSGF has kindly prolonged the Internet server assistance for one more year.
This was the very first grant project of NACC as newly established NGO with limited financial sources and huge necessity of information on different aspects of cancer fight. Besides, the availability of e-mail was very essential in order of establishing links with analogous international organizations and facilitation of relation's development with them.
Considering the importance of access to modern information and good means of connection, NACC highly appreciates the support from OSGF, which significantly contributed positively in process of NACC development.
New grant from OSGF for NACC Web Site development
OSGF agreed to ensure the placement part of the NACC Web Site on it's server in order of Site multimedia presentation optimization on Internet Site created according to ECA/IREX Internet Grant Competition. Extension of OSGF support is maintained in the borders of "Wide Open World" program (Project Director - Sandro Karumidze).
