Medical Profile NGOs are sharing the NACC/UCCC position on blocking the prohibition of strong alcoholic drinks and tobacco products advertisement supposed to start since January 1, 2002, according to "Georgian Legislation on Advertisement" and appeal the Georgian Parliament Members refuse to support the postponing the activation of VII-TH Item of VIII-TH Chapter.
Medical Profile NGOs also are asking the Georgian media means to fully acknowledge the volume of disadvantage by strong alcoholic drinks and tobacco products advertisement and deny this source of funding considering the ethical and moral issues.
